ABOUT Katherine

I have over a decade of experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and educational support to individuals, families, and schools. My work focuses on helping clients overcome obstacles and reach personal, academic, and professional goals. Clinical specialties include Exposure Therapy (including ERD), EMDR, clinical hypnosis, Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), executive functioning training, and CBT for PTSD, anxiety, and ADHD. I am experienced in complex diagnostic presentations and school and workplace advocacy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and specialized tutor, primarily offering teletherapy. I also hold a Masters of Education in School Administration, allowing me to effectively support families in navigating school systems and advocating for student needs. I am a licensed Teacher and Guidance Counselor in Texas and Massachusetts and have previously held teaching certifications in multiple states.

My career began in education as a camp counselor and classroom teacher, where I observed how executive functioning challenges and other barriers affected student success. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling, integrating therapeutic and instructional approaches to support both emotional and academic development.

In addition to my professional background, I am a mother of five, including children with special needs. I have homeschooled my own children and founded a school for gifted homeschooled students in California, blending lived experience with professional expertise.

I currently provide teletherapy to rural clients in Texas (and will be supervising new clinicians in East Texas), as well as offering specialized tutoring and educational advocacy worldwide. I am also launching a Boston-area Therapy Farm in July 2026, offering innovative, nature-based therapeutic and educational services and opening up an office serving underrepresented populations in the Lower Cape of Massachusetts.

My experience includes working with individuals in high-stress environments and those facing severe PTSD and anxiety, as well as cognitive or developmental challenges as a result of ADHD, TBIs, cognitive decline or learning disabilities, including international populations, as well as military members and their families. I conduct adoption home visits for atypical families (homeschoolers, transient workers, etc.), develop individualized education plans for homeschooling families, create behavioral intervention plans, advocate within school systems, and tutor teens and college students with executive functioning and language-based learning differences.

ABOUT Calloway

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist trained at UMass Amherst, with advanced clinical experience across developmental, neurogenic, and geriatric populations. I completed an Autism Certificate program with additional Psychology coursework.

My clinical work has included intensive specialization in autism, cognitive-communication disorders, and complex developmental profiles, as well as rehabilitation with older adults in skilled nursing settings. I excel in collaborating with hospital, nursing home, and school staff to provide well rounded support.

I am committed to supporting functional communication with dignity across the lifespan, with a particular professional focus on cognition and language skills.

My academic foundation began in an honors program at Texas Tech University, where I developed a strong interest in symbolic communication and the ways nonverbal individuals express meaning. Drawing from an interdisciplinary background in art, psychology, and dance, I apply a multimodal, evidence-based approach to assessment and intervention, integrating scientific rigor with practical, person-centered care.

I specialize in cognitive-communication evaluation and treatment and provide comprehensive services across speech, language, and voice disorders. I work comfortably with clients of all ages and backgrounds and have particular experience serving verbal and minimally verbal populations.

My current clinical work includes dyslexia intervention, academic and cognitive testing for verbal and nonverbal individuals, and developmental assessments that support accurate diagnostic clarification of autism spectrum and related communication disorders in collaboration with clinical teams.

I am accepting new clients for virtual SLP services in Texas and Massachusetts, and limited in-person sessions in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with focused expertise in:
