ABOUT Katherine
I’ve been providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and educational support to individuals, families, and schools for over a decade. My focus is on helping people overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
I provide executive functioning training and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with a particular focus on supporting individuals through complex life transitions or settings and helping clients manage symptoms related to PTSD, anxiety, and ADHD. Skilled in providing challenging diagnoses and school/work advocacy.
I began my career as a camp counselor and teacher, where I quickly saw that many students struggled with executive functioning and other barriers to success. This insight led me to pursue a Master’s in Counseling, deepening my ability to support both academic and emotional development.
In addition to my professional work, I’m a mother of five, including children with special needs. I’ve homeschooled my own children and founded a school for gifted homeschooled students in California, blending my personal and professional passions to create meaningful learning environments.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and specialized tutor, I primarily provide teletherapy and clinical supervision services. In addition to my counseling credentials, I hold a Master of Education in School Administration, which enables me to effectively support families in navigating school systems and advocating for their children's needs.
With extensive experience working in both schools and communities, I offer a unique blend of instructional and therapeutic support. I'm a licensed Teacher and Guidance Counselor in Texas and Massachusetts and have previously held teaching certifications in several other states.
I currently maintain an office in Lubbock, Texas, and am excited to announce the upcoming launch of a Boston-area Therapy Farm, where I will offer innovative, nature-based therapeutic services.
I have extensive experience working with individuals in high stress settings or facing severe PTSD and anxiety symptoms. In addition to clinical assessment and treatment, I conduct thorough home visits for adoptions and have consistently supported homeschooling families by developing customized education plans and documentation. I’ve also created behavioral intervention plans, advocated for students within school systems, and tutored teens and college students dealing with executive functioning challenges and language-based learning differences. My work has primarily focused on international populations, military personnel and their families, as well as individuals navigating trauma and anxiety-related disorders.

ABOUT Calloway
I recently completed my Speech Language Pathologist Masters at UMass Amherst and a Clinical Fellowship Experience at the University Delaware Clinic where I had the opportunity to focus on Autism and Developmental Populations under supervision. I'm currently completing my Clinical Fellowship with a geriatric population at a skilled nursing facility. I want to ensure that everyone can achieve functional communication with dignity through all developmental stages of life.
My professional journey started with an honors program at Texas Tech University where I became fascinated by how humans derive meaning from symbols and how those that are non verbal still communicate. With a scientific but practical approach in my intersecting background in art, psychology and dance, I started to focus my studies on how to use multi modal communications for assessments and research.
I especially enjoy cognitive communication evaluations and treatments, but can treat all area of speech, language and voice. I can provide these services to, and am comfortable working with, clients of any age or background.
I'm currently providing dyslexia tutoring, academic testing for verbal and non verbal populations, and the administering of developmental delay testing to assist in more accurate diagnoses of ASD for the clinical counselors when there are limited or non verbal populations at our Lubbock location.
