ABOUT Katherine
I've been providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and educational services to individuals, families, and schools for more than a decade. I believe in helping people overcome obstacles to meet their goals. I started as a camp counselor and teacher, but I quickly found that many students needed help with executive functioning and barriers to performance - leading me to an MS in Counseling. I'm also a mom to five children, including a few with special needs. I've homeschooled, and I ran a school for homeschooled gifted students in California.
I'm currently a Clinical Licensed Professional Counselor and specialized tutor that has provided lots of teletherapy and supervision. I have an additional MEd in School Administration which allows me to help families with their interactions with the schools. I have many years working in schools and communities providing instruction and counseling. I'm a licensed Teacher and Guidance Counselor in Texas and Massachusetts, but have held teacher certifications in many states. I have a Boston Area Therapy Farm coming soon and an office in Lubbock, Texas.
I've done home visits for adoptions, advocated for homeschool families, created homeschool plans and documents, created behavioral plans, advocated for students in schools, and tutored teens and college students that struggle with executive functioning or language based learning. I can assess and treat clients. I've worked primarily with international populations, military and military families, as well as others with PTSD or anxieties.

ABOUT Calloway
I recently completed my Speech Language Pathologist Masters at UMass Amherst and a Clinical Fellowship Experience at the University Delaware Clinic where I had the opportunity to focus on Autism and Developmental Populations under supervision. I'm currently completing my Clinical Fellowship with a geriatric population at a skilled nursing facility. I want to ensure that everyone can achieve functional communication with dignity through all developmental stages of life.
My professional journey started with an honors program at Texas Tech University where I became fascinated by how humans derive meaning from symbols and how those that are non verbal still communicate. With a scientific but practical approach in my intersecting background in art, psychology and dance, I started to focus my studies on how to use multi modal communications for assessments and research.
I especially enjoy cognitive communication evaluations and treatments, but can treat all area of speech, language and voice. I can provide these services to, and am comfortable working with, clients of any age or background.
I'm currently providing dyslexia tutoring, academic testing for verbal and non verbal populations, and the administering of developmental delay testing to assist in more accurate diagnoses of ASD for the clinical counselors when there are limited or non verbal populations at our Lubbock location.
